Our Physicians

Dr. Gemas received his sports medicine fellowship training at The University of Miami, Florida. While in Miami he treated all varsity athletic teams and served as a fellow orthopaedic surgeon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers professional football team. Playing college football himself with the Clemson Tigers and later served as a certified athletic trainer.

Dr. Patel has a special interest in hand, wrist and elbow surgery including sports related injuries, fracture treatment of the upper extremity, traumatic conditions including tendon repairs and reconstruction as well as carpal tunnel nerve related conditions. Dr. Patel recently completed the prestigious fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery.
