Practice Liaison

Dave Burton, MS, LAT, ATC
As the practice liaison for Lakewood Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, he has multiple responsibilities. He is the director of our athletic training services outreach program and works with various schools and athletic organizations to provide services and medical coverage for events. Our outreach athletic trainers collectively have 263 years of experience and this is the individual to contact if your group is in need of athletic medical coverage.

Dave assists the office manager in marketing the practice by working various events, visiting with other medical offices and organizations and introducing them to the LOSM philosophy of "A Whole New World of Care" for patient care.

He also participates in clinical patient care by providing quality Kinesio Taping applications for various issues and conditions as an Internationally Certified Practitioner. He performs the physical performance tests for the physicians to assist in determining when the patient is ready to resume full athletic activity. Dave has vast experience in developing exercise and/or rehab prescription programs and works with individual patients and athletic organizations.
